Gloucester County Dancing with the Stars

For the past few months the Atrium Dance Studio has been involved with a charity competition in Gloucester County. Six Notables have been taking private and group lessons with the instructors at the Atrium Dance Studio to compete for their specific charity in Cha Cha, Swing, Waltz, and Salsa.

The Show not only includes the competition of the six notables but professional dance demonstrations and basic lessons to the at-home audience.

The two awards will be presented to the competitors: a technical award for the competitor who grasped the dance steps the best, and a community award for the competitor who raised the most funds for their charity. So far it has already raised $40,000 for the charities involved.

Competitors & Charities:

Eileen Cardile – president and CEO of Underwood Memorial Hospital, dancing for Underwood-Memorial Hospital Foundation with Jose Reyes of the Atrium Dance Studio.

William Anderson – president of Gloucester County College, dancing for an endowment in honor of William L. Apetz, GCC’s Founding President with Nancy Sklencar of the Atrium Dance Studio.

Delor Cornell – president of Cornell and Company dancing for the Wadsworth “Chip” Cresse III Foundation with Dave Fore of the Atrium Dance Studio.

Scott Kintzing – president and CEO if The Bank, dancing for the United Way of Gloucester County, with Barbara Capaldi, owner and director of the Atrium Dance Studio.

Claire Riggs – lead community relations specialist for Valero Refining Company, dancing for Emmanual Cancer Foundation with George Dennis of the Atrium Dance Studio.

Gene Lillie – chairman of Gloucester County Veteran’s Advisory Committee, dancing for Gloucester County Toys for Tots with Jackie Stahl of the Atrium Dance Studio.

At-Home Audience can vote for their favorite dancers by donating to the particular charity, each dollar is worth one vote.
