Salseros Unidos
Atrium Professional Dance Team

Salseros Unidos was established in 2001 under the direction of Barbara Capaldi. The group is based in the Atrium Dance Studio in Pennsauken NJ. The dance studio is a highly recognized venue in the tri-state area for Latin dance instruction and events as well as other types of dance including swing, ballroom styles, belly dance, and of course hip-hop.

Salseros Unidos has participated in numerous Salsa Congresses in the United States and abroad. Salseros Unidos first congress appearance was the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress in 2002. The group has represented at congresses continuously since then, most recently at the Boston Salsa Congress in April 2005.

Salseros Unidos has also performed locally at clubs, parties and fundraisers. Among the most memorable and highlighted engagements they have performed was a six week run at "The Quarter" in the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City NJ from November 2004 until January 2005. Salseros Unidos also won first prize in the San Juan Bautista Puerto Rican Day Parade in June of 2004.
